Abstract This Ministerial Order establishes the Prohibition of Poultry Products Imports. It revises the mechanisms of inspections and controls to be carried out on the importation of dairy and raw poultry products (meat/eggs) from countries where bird flu has been detected. In addition, it repeals the existing general import banning measures. Imports of raw poultry products (meat/eggs) are subject to prior authorization under the law. The import authorization depends on compliance with the sanitary and phytosanitary measures, in accordance with the Legal Regime of Import and Export Quarantine and the international standards approved by the World Organization of Animal Health.
