This Ministerial Order enters into force the day after its publication.
Abstract

This Ministerial Order approves the legal norms relating to the competences, organization and functioning of the Territorial Delegations of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Inclusion (MSSI), constituted in Municipal Social Solidarity Centres (CSSM). The CSSM's mission is to ensure at the level of the respective territorial district, the coordination, execution, implementation and monitoring of programmes and specific activities that carry out the tasks of the MSSI and guarantee the proximity of the services to the citizens, as well as the collection of data with a view to the design and/or revision of the referred programmes. The Assistance and Social Inclusion Unit (UAIS) is the service of the CSSM responsible for: Implementing the MSSI programmes with a view to promoting the rights of people in situations of social vulnerability, namely people with disabilities, the elderly and children and women; Ensure, at the local level, the organization of meetings of the Network for the Protection of children, and women victims of domestic and/or gender-based violence, etc.
