Abstract This Ministerial Order, consisting of 64 articles divided into four Chapters and five Annexes, creates the Structure and Internal Regulations of the Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals (MPM). These internal regulations establish the structure and attributions of the organizational units that comprise the service departments defined in the Law of the Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals. In addition, it establishes the principles that govern the various levels of management and hierarchy in their form of coordination and articulation. It specifies the procedures that managers and employees must respect in the exercise of their functions. The MPM services have the general attributions of supporting the Minister of Petroleum and Minerals.
