This Ministerial Order enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Ministerial Order approves the Regulation on the Functioning of the Centre of Monitoring and Control (CMV) under the General Director of the National Administration of Fisheries. This Regulation, consisting of 3 Chapters, aims at regulating the functioning of the CMV in order to guarantee the performance of responsible fishing activities and as an effect to the elimination of illegal fisheries (including non-reported and non-regulated) by National and foreign fishing vessels. This Regulation aims also at the improvement of fish resources management for National and foreign semi-industrial and industrial fishing vessels, to perform fishing activities in the waters under the Mozambican jurisdiction, as well as high seas and within Third countries.
