This Ministerial Order enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Ministerial Order approves the Regulation of the National Institute for Fish Inspection. This Regulation, consisting of 3 Chapters, establishes composition, duties and competencies of the National Institute for Fish Inspection, and regulates its activities, entitled to propose strategies, policies and action plans related to hygiene and sanitary quality standards of fish products; propose the regulating principles and establish technical norms for fish laboratory inspection; carry out inspection and sanitary certification of fish products destined to export, internal market and imports; carry out inspections and sanitary licensing of hygiene and sanitary conditions and quality control systems of infrastructures, fishing vessels and ways of transport of fish products and sub-products; participate in research programmes related to fish caught inspection; etc.
