Abstract This Ministerial Order under the provisions of article 28 of Law No. 16/2014 of 20 June, amended and republished by Law No. 5/2017 of 11 May, in conjunction with the Hunting Regulations approved by Decree No. 82/2017 of 29 December, establishes: the quotas for the slaughter and collection of crocodile eggs for the 2022 hunting season. Attached are the tables of global slaughter quotas for each category of hunting and crocodile egg collection area. The detail of individual slaughter quotas per operator in the different hunting areas can be consulted at the National Administration of Conservation Areas (ANAC). The 2022 hunting season is established, from 1 April to 30 November 2022, and the season for harvesting crocodile eggs, from 15 August to 30 November of the same year.
