Abstract This Ministerial Order approves the Standard-Statute of the Fisheries Community Committee. This Statute, consisting of 43 articles divided into six Chapters, specifying composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Committee, entitled to ensure compliance with management measures and support in the management of conflicts arising from the exercise of fishing activity. In particular, the Committee aims to: a) support the fishing administration bodies of the respective district, in the fishing licensing and fishing inspection process; b) participate in the elaboration of proposals and implementation of measures for management and access or restriction of fishing; c) alert the authorities responsible for fisheries administration about changes in fisheries resources, their ecosystems and the environment; d) implement and monitor management measures, and control fishing activity in the community managed fishing area.
