Abstract This Ministerial Order establishes Public Rice Supply Intervention and the standardization of the price of rice. It specifies that the prices applicable to rice are the following: a) price of selling to the final consumer $12.00 USD per bag of 25 kg; b) price of purchasing of rice by companies from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Environment, to be re-sold in the market is $10.00 USD per bag of 25 kg, except to the capital Dili (not including the Subdistrict Metinaro and Atauro) that will be $10.50 USD.
