This Ministerial Order enters into force immediately.
Abstract

This Ministerial Order establishes Public Rice Supply Intervention and the standardization of the price of rice. It specifies that the prices applicable to rice are the following: a) price of selling to the final consumer $12.00 USD per bag of 25 kg; b) price of purchasing of rice by companies from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Environment, to be re-sold in the market is $10.00 USD per bag of 25 kg, except to the capital Dili (not including the Subdistrict Metinaro and Atauro) that will be $10.50 USD.
