The Decision shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

With the purpose of implementing Council Directive No. 2001/113/EC, article 132 of the Food Code is hereby amended. In the specific, Annex I to this article lists down specific criteria and standards for fruit jams, jellies, marmalades and sweetened chestnut purée intended for human consumption. For the production of the above mentioned products the ingredients and raw materials listed in Annexes II and III may be used. Placing on the market of products not complying with the prescriptions of this Decree, shall be prohibited as from 12 July 2004.
