Abstract This Decree lays down the principles and guidelines of good manufacturing practice for veterinary medicinal products whose manufacture requires the authorization referred to in Article 23 of Ministerial Decree 378812/1992 and in compliance with Commission Directive 91/412/EEC. The fourteen articles composing this Decree contain rules relative to the production, quality management and control, registration, premises and equipment, work contracted out, complaints and product recall and self-inspection (by the manufacters) of drugs intended for use in animals.
