Abstract Aim of the present Decree is the establishment in detail of the procedures for the control, monitoring and surveillance of the system for the certification of organic agricultural products. Such controls shall be performed by the competent authorities of the Department of Organic Agriculture, as prescribed by article 4, paragraph 1, of Ministerial Joint Decree No. 245090/2006. The controls are established by this Decree and shall concern all persons and entities involved with the system of certification, including commercial enterprises producing and vending organically produced products.
