Abstract: With the purpose of giving effect to Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in matters of food safety, the present Decree amends article 18 “consultation”, article 3 “distribution and processing of foodstuffs” and article 29 “distinction and general rules for the utilization of additional substances”. The amendments regard rephrasing of text for foodstuffs not suitable for human consumption.
