Abstract

With this Decree, paragraph 5 ("margarine") of article 78 of the Codex Alimentarius is amended: "The use of "B.H.A" as chemical additive to margarine is allowed, provided its proportion does not exceed the 0,13%o of the total composition of the product. Also, the use of certain food preservatives (E 200, E 201, E 202, E 203, E 210, E 211, E 212, E 213) as chemical additives to margarine is allowed, provided their proportion does not exceed the 1%o of the total composition of the product.".
