The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The Decree approves the Supreme Chemical Council of the State Decision by which article 67 of the Food Code, which deals with honey and honey products, is amended as follows: in section (d), paragraph 2 of article 67, point (1) shall be replaced by the text laid down in article 1 to this Decree. The amendment regards the labelling of honey and honey products and establishes that the country or countries of origin where the honey has been harvested shall be indicated on the label. This measure shall be applied so as to: a) authorise the marketing of the products which conform to the provisions of this Decree; b) prohibit the marketing of products which fail to conform to this Decree, with effect from three months after the publication of the present Decree in the Official Gazette. However, the marketing of products which fail to conform to this Decree and were labelled before the three months period, shall be permitted until stocks run out.
