Safety requirements shall be related to processing, trade, recycling and destruction of honey and apiculture products (natural honey, beeswax and bee bread). It shall not be applicable to individually produced honey and apiculture products destined for personal consumption, infant and dietary food and food additives. Identification of the products for compliance with the established standards shall be carried out through the analysis of documentation, inspection of labelling and packaging, and by laboratory analysis and product testing. Honey and apiculture products circulation on the national territory shall comply with technical standards and shall be accompanied by the documentation attesting quality and safety thereof (veterinary certificate and compliance declaration).
