Abstract

With a view to ensuring an adequate protection of consumers, the present Decree provides for the arrangement of a traceability system in respect of drinking milk as defined by Act No. 169 of 1989. The traceability system is based upon a number of obligations to be met by operators engaged in the production, distribution and marketing of drinking milk (art. 3). Further identification and registration obligations are set out with detail in the Annex attached.
