It consists of 15 articles and 4 annexes and applies to mollusc fishing performed with devices other than towed nets. Articles 5 to 8 concern restrictions on fishing as regards the period of time during which such activities are forbidden and the total allowable catch. Article 9 concerns the issuance of fishing licences, the territorial validity of which is limited to the maritime district to which the fishing vessel belongs.
