This Decree enters into force the day after its publication on the Gazzetta Ufficiale della Repubblica Italiana.
Abstract

The Decree establishes the obligations to be fulfilled for the introduction and the placing on the market of seed potatoes and potatoes produced in 1998 in the Netherlands. A plant protection certificate must accompany the latter. The information that must be provided regards the fact that the seed potatoes come from an area exempt from Ralastonia solanacearum, the certified absence of the disease in the imported seed potatoes and the fulfillment of all the analysis before the introduction of the seeds in Italy. The seed potatoes must clearly indicate the storage place and address of the first purchaser. (10 articles and 1 annex)
