Abstract

The Council of Ministers if the RSFSR decrees to concede the right to the fishing industry enterprises to use 20 (twenty) metres wide coastal zone from water line to be established from the beginning of fishing period for the traction of nets, drying and repairs of fishing gear, maintenance of fishing vessels, installation of gear, construction of provisional housing and production edifices and carrying out other works. Plots of land for the construction of provisional housing and production edifices for fishing purposes can be used by fishing enterprises within the boundaries of the coastal zone with prior consent of the managing organizations. The Government decrees to prohibit the use of coastal zone for fishing purposes on the plots of land on which are situated farmsteads, sown areas, gardens, vineyards and other precious plantations and the plots of land allotted for pipe-bend, transportation needs, waterworks, railway bridges, commercial and military seaports, harbours, shipyards, ship-repairing yards, coastal fortifications, military bases and protected areas.
