Abstract This Decree consisting of 5 articles and III Annexes aims at regulating the import of the plants or part of them (except for the fruits). It prohibits the import, unless accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate, from the countries where was registered (i) red palm weevil; (ii) bayoud disease or Fusarium wilt; and (iii) lethal yellowing. Art.2 lists other exceptions. The Annexes list in details the kinds of plants and the countries in which the presence of red palm weevil was registered.
