Abstract This Decree consisting of 10 articles aims at protecting wild animals by establishing the conditions on the basis of which the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment issues the falcon's document. These conditions are as follows (i) the owner is of Emirati nationality; (ii) the falcon has been obtained in a legal way and registered in the electronic system of the Ministry; and (iii) the falcon is identified with a ring, and the falcon owner may install an electronic identification chip, without violating the identification requirements. The Decree establishes also that to register anonymous falcons, a request must be submitted to the competent department and lists the required documents. ِArt.4 gives the rules to register falcons raised on private farms and homes.
