Federal Agency on Agriculture is attached to the Ministry of Agriculture. Federal Agency on Agriculture within its sphere of competence, is entitled to regulate the following activities: 1) rendering assistance in the sphere of agricultural complex; 2) regulation of turnover of ethyl alcohol extracted form alimentary and non-alimentary raw material and tobaccos; 3) regulation of market of agricultural raw materials, commodities and foodstuffs; 4) rendering state support to the organizations of agricultural complex; 5) rendering service in the sphere of plant quarantine and the use of chemicals in agroindustrial complex; 6) organization of running land reclamation systems, pertaining to state property; 7) organization of the formation and utilization of the stock of seeds of agricultural species; 8) registration of federal property pertaining to agroindustrial complex; 9) monitoring of wildlife species subject to hunting; 10) captive breeding.
