Abstract

The Prime Minister decrees that Federal Technological Supervision is a federal executive body authorized to carry out control and supervision in the sphere of industrial safety of hazardous production sites, observance of the establishes modalities of the use of subsoil and carrying out mining activity, safety of waterworks at the industrial and energetic sites and special authorization functions within its sphere of competence. Federal Technological Supervision is posted under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Industry and Energy. The main functions of the Federal Technological Supervision are : 1) supervision over the observance of industrial safety requirements in the sphere of the protection of subsoil in the process of exploitation of mineral deposits; 2) supervision over the observance of safety requirements in the process of projecting, construction, running, conservation and liquidation of waterworks at the industrial and energetic sites; 3) registration of hazardous industrial sites and waterworks and keeping state register of hazardous production sites; 4) licensing in its sphere of competence.
