Abstract

The State nature reserve “Selyakhi” shall be set up for the purpose of the conservation of natural habitats and vegetation of royal fern (Osmunda Regalis L), nesting grounds of black stork (Ciconia nigra) and other rare and endangered animals and plants, and also for the purpose of the reproduction thereof. The following activities shall be prohibited ”: (1) any activity causing change of the natural landscape and hydrological regime; (2) damage and destruction of plants and vegetation; (3) extraction of minerals and peat; (4) discharge of sewage and waste disposal in water bodies; (5) clearing of riverside natural growths; (6) water abstraction causing modification of the water intake schedule of the area; 7) grazing, mowing and ploughing up; 8) setting up tourist camps. The establishment of the State nature reserve “Selyakhi” shall not entail the expropriation of land. The infringers of the Regulation shall be liable in conformity with the legislation currently in force. The State nature reserve “Buda – Koshelevsky” shall be set for the purpose of conservation of the remaining fragments of oak forests with rare and endangered forest species representing great scientific, cultural and aesthetic value. The following activities shall be prohibited”: (1) grazing; (2) disturbance of soil; (3) land reclamation and any other activity causing modification of the natural landscape and of the water intake schedule of the area; (4) main felling and soft resin collection; (5) hunting. The establishments of the State nature reserve “Buda – Koshelevsky” shall not entail the expropriation of land. The infringers of the Decree shall be liable in conformity with the legislation currently in force.
