Abstract This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of complex environmental monitoring within the framework of the National environmental monitoring system and complex monitoring of ecosystems and protected areas. Complex monitoring shall represent regular observation of the state of natural ecosystems on the territory of protected areas performed with a view of assessment of the state thereof and efficiency assessment of management of protected areas. The scope of complex monitoring shall be to supply information for decision-making related to rational management of natural resources, conservation of biodiversity and landscape diversity thereof.
