Abstract

This Ministerial Decree establishes sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the functioning of foodstuffs wholesale and retail sale facilities non-compliance with which shall imperil human life and health and may cause outbreak and spreading of diseases. It shall be applicable to transportation, storage, packaging and trade of foodstuffs. Food market territory shall divided into three areas: (a) trading facilities; (b) storage facilities; and (c) administrative facilities. Once in a month shall be carried out disinfection, disinfestations and deratization arrangements. Trade of the following foodstuffs at food market shall be prohibited: (a) live domestic animals, cattle and poultry; (b) homemade preserved food; (c) non-industrial bakery, cookery (meat-based products, fishery products, vegetables and floury products); and (d) fresh and home processed mushrooms.
