Abstract

This Decree prescribes restrictions on the import and use of certain agricultural pharmaceuticals; for ENDOSULFAN: the import of ENDOSULFAN is suspended for 2 (two) years; the use of any agricultural product containing ENDOSULFAN is prohibited in the cultivation of tobacco; within the lap of two years this pharmaceutical should be re-examined in order to reduce it's use only when it is absolutely necesary. For LINDANE: the import of LINDANE is suspened; Decision No. 167419 of 28.09.1984 concerning the use of LINDANE is amended by the present Decree: the use of LINDANE is allowed only for a specific weed treatment.
