Subject Food & nutrition Keyword Viticulture/oenological practices Processing/handling Inspection Food quality control/food safety Geographical area Arctic, Asia and the Pacific, Black Sea, Caspian Sea, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), Eastern Europe, Europe, Europe and Central Asia, North Pacific, North-West Pacific Abstract The Government decrees as follows : 1) To establish that all technological lines for the production of alcohol products (except for beer) must be obligatorily equipped with alcoholmeteres by 1 April 1998. 2) To establish that control equipment for the registration of actual volume of output of alcohol products (alcoholmeters) are sealed exclusively by State Inspection for Ensuring State Monopoly on Spirits attached to the Government. 3) To establish that the organizations producing alcohol products must grant without hindrance to State Inspection for Ensuring State Monopoly on Spirits attached to the Government the access to alcoholmeters for the purpose of inspection of functioning of registration equipment of the produced volume of output of alcohol products. 4) State Inspection for Ensuring State Monopoly on Spirits attached to the Government must use sanctions , envisaged by the legislation currently in force for the infringement of the conditions of licensing against the organizations that have not installed alcoholmeters by 1 April 1998.
