Abstract This Decree aims at conservation and recovery of lands affected by radioactive and chemical contamination which pose a threat to human health and do not meet the sanitary requirements, by withdrawing them from economic circulation and transfer them to the State Reserve Fund for restoration. This Decree states that measures shall be taken against hazardous chemicals used in plant protection and mineral fertilizers in agricultural land as well as industrial and domestic waste water and waste. This Decree determines the methods of conservation and recovery operations that depend on contamination level of soil, depth of contamination, soil classification, mineralogy and geographical features of environment.
