The reason for the decision of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision on expediency of phytosanitary risk analysis shall be to obtain information on the appearance of previously unknown pest or new information on the known pest containing information on the identity of natural-climatic conditions in the country of origin of the pest and in the Russian Federation or in certain regions of the Russian Federation, sufficient for its probable acclimatization (duration of vegetation, heat, precipitation, feed supply, presence or absence of natural enemies of the pest).
