Abstract

A Decree prescribing restrictive provisions related to the use of pesticides containing the active substance CARBENDAZIM; it prescribes the mandatory information to be carried on the label of such products: on the label of pesticides containing CARBENDAZIM must appear, as from 1.1.1989: toxicological classification; the phrase "Experiments' indications on guinea-pigs arouse suspicions of causing serious damages to the human organism"; safety precautions, including standard statements designed to inform the user clearly how to handle the product with a minimum of hazard (e.g. protective clothes to be worn, what to do in case of contamination, etc.); first-aid instructions and antidotal measures indicating the measures to be taken in case of poisoning.
