Abstract

The State Inspection for Quality Control of Agricultural Commodities and Monitoring of Trade thereof is the governmental body of state management subordinated to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and posted under its jurisdiction. The main tasks of the State Inspection are: 1) participation in the realization of state policy in the sphere of the state quality control of agricultural commodities except for grain and its derivates, and also monitoring of agricultural commodities market; 2) organization of control of the formation of state and regional resources of agricultural commodities, quality control thereof, promotion of arrangements for the state support of the producers of agricultural commodities; 3)state control of the observance standards and other normative documents related to quality, safety, certification of agricultural commodities at the time of its manufacturing, storage, processing and trade thereof. The State Inspection shall carry out the following functions: 1) issuing of quality certificates for agricultural commodities except for grain and its derivates; 2) analysis and summary of the data regarding grain quality of new yield; 3) provides for expertise of grain and its derivates recognized unfit for feeding by laboratory tests and makes decisions as regards the disposal thereof.
