Ministerial Decree No. 60 validating the Regulation on the state biosphere reserves Ruzhan'ska Pushcha, Kaykovsky and Mozyr ravine.

The state biosphere reserve Ruzhan'ska Pushcha shall be set up for the purpose of the conservation of the unique natural ecosystem with rare and protected plants recorded in the Red Book of Belarus. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of the state biosphere reserve Ruzhan'ska Pushcha: 1) grazing; 2) disturbance of soil; 3) extraction of common minerals; 4) drainage and land reclamation causing change of the natural landscape; 5) hunting; 6) main felling on especially protected plots of the protected areas. The proclamation of Ruzhan'ska Pushcha biosphere reserve shall not entail the expropriation of land. The Forest Ministry shall be the managing authority while the protection shall be carried out by the forest service. The state biosphere reserve Kaykovsky shall be set up for the purpose of the conservation of the urban forests with rare and protected forest species located in Minsk area. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of the state biosphere reserve Kaykovsky: 1) grazing; 2) disturbance of soil; 3) extraction of common minerals; 4) drainage and land reclamation causing change of the natural landscape; 5) hunting; 6) main felling on especially protected plots of the protected areas. The proclamation of Kaykovsky biosphere reserve shall not entail the expropriation of land. The Forest Ministry shall be the managing authority while the protection shall be carried out by the forest service. The state biosphere reserve Mozyr ravine shall be set up for the purpose of the conservation of particular landscape features with rare, endangered and protected plants recorded in the Red Book of Belarus. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of the state biosphere reserve Mozyr ravine: 1) annihilation of shrubbery and trees except for sanitary felling; 2) grazing. The proclamation of the state biosphere reserve Mozyr ravine shall not entail the expropriation of land.
