Abstract

This Ministerial Decree contains the list of environmentally degrading economic activities classified as follows: (a) land and subsoil management (reclamation of land polluted with toxic, radioactive and other hazardous substances, mining of the area exceeding 25 hectares); (b) use of water resources (waste water treatment calculated for the population of 150 thousand residents); (c) oil operations (extraction, storage, transport, processing and operation of pipelines); (d) use of nuclear and thermal energy (operation of nuclear power plants, spent nuclear fuel recycling and radioactive waste disposal); (e) atmospheric air impact, climate change and ozone layer (emissions, import and export of ozone depleting substances); (f) hazardous waste management (transboundary movement of hazardous waste, hazardous waste management, burial and disposal); and (g) other environmentally degrading economic activities (production of GMO).
