Its sets forth: (a) compulsory safety requirements for beverages; (b) requirements for processing, storage, transportation, internal trade and vending of beverages; (c) requirements for packaging and labelling of beverages; and (d) requirements for traceability and identification of beverages. It shall not be applicable to infant food. Traceability and identification of beverages shall be performed by the producer.
