This Technical Regulation establishes: (a) safety of technical equipment for processing of sugar; (b) traceability and identification of sugar; (c) assessment of compliance of sugar with the established standards; (d) requirements for the use of terminology, packaging and labelling, and also on the origin and consumer qualities of sugar; and (e) safety requirements for sacchariferous raw materials.
