Abstract

By this Decree, rules on environmental auditing shall be approved with the aim of ensuring environmental security by reporting activities of users independently in conformity with the existing legislations, environmental norms and environmental standards, giving advice to and assisting users and determining environmental policy. This Decree sets forth provisions on duties and responsibilities of environmental auditors and regulations for carrying out environmental auditing activities. This Decree identifies environmental auditor as real and legal persons authorised by special permit issued by the executive authorities defined by the Presidential Decree. This Decree underlines that foreign auditors and auditing institutions can be involved to carry out environmental auditing and consultancy.
