The Agency shall carry out the following functions: (a) supervision of compliance with licensing terms and conditions in the sphere of nuclear energy; (b) supervision over radiation safety at nuclear sites; (c) supervision over subsoil management; and (d) state ecological supervision; (e) licensing of management, storage, transportation and disposal of radioactive substances and radioactive waste.
