The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The Decree amends, in accordance with Commission Directive 2005/4/EC, the Supreme Chemical Council of the State Decision (Decree No. 109/2002) to harmonize the Greek legislative frame with Commission Directive 2001/22/EC as regards the sampling methods and the methods of analysis for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury and 3-MCPD in foodstuffs. Annexes I and II to Decree No. 109/2002 are amended as set out in Annexes I and II to the present Decree.
