Abstract

Italy participates in the temporary experiment organized at Community level by the European Commission with a view to assessing whether seed sampling and seed testing under official supervision may constitute improved alternatives to the official seed certification regime established by Directives 66/400/EEC, 66/401/EEC, 66/402/EEC and 69/208/EEC. The experimentation shall be performed from the control campaign of 1999/2000 until 30 June 2002.
