It does not apply to seed grain, forage grain, technical grain or their derivates. Grain vendors shall provide customers complete and reliable information on the quality and safety of the grain. Grain production and processing shall ensure: (a) application of phytosanitary and agrochemical measures; (b) the absence of quarantine pests, pathogens or weeds; and (c) the use of state-registered pesticides. Grain shall be stored in facilities that meet ecological, phytosanitary and safety requirements. Grain shall be transported in dry, clean, odourless conveyances. Grain that is free of disease or odours and without symptoms of firefanging shall be authorized for trade. Grain that does not comply with the provisions of this Technical Regulation shall be recycled or destroyed, depending upon the results of testing.
