Department shall carry out the following tasks: (a) ensuring appropriate qualitative state of forest ecosystems, extension of forest cover and development of innovative forest management methods; (b) inventory of forest resources; (c) prevention of possible negative impact of economic activities on forest ecosystems; (d) prevention of forest fires; and (e) access to information related to forestry.
