The Commission shall carry out the following functions: (a) implementation of the state policy with a view of increasing crop capacity of agricultural crops; (b) elaboration and validation of rules and regulations of registration and application of chemicals and plant protection means; (c) expertise of scientific and technical documentation related to chemical and biological agents of national and foreign origin; and (d) quality control over chemicals and plant protection means.
