Abstract The present Decree lays down additional measures regarding the avian flu disease. More specifically biosafety measures for both poultry and wild birds are set forth in article 1 to this Decree. Article 2 establishes protection measures for birds of zoological gardens, pet shops and poultry sold in street markets. Provisions regarding transport of poultry and disinfestation of means of transport are set forth in article 3. With this text, certain provisions of Decrees Nos. 309756/10.10.2005 and 309760/11.10.2005 are amended.
