Abstract

This Ministerial Decree implements Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). The Premier, for the purpose of the implementation of CITES decrees to prohibit on the national territory hunting and collection and procurement of wild animals and plants the trade of which is regulated by the aforesaid Convention, and also purchase, trade and exchange of the aforesaid species, parts and derivates thereof. The list of the endangered species inhabiting the national territory includes birds (Ciconia nigra, Aquila chrysaetos, Falco – all species, Otis tarda, Pandion haliaetus, Circaetus qallicus, Haliaetus albicilla), fishes (Acipenser sturio), plants (Orchidaceae, Cyclamen – all species, Lobelia dortmanna), mammals (Desmana moschata, Nyctalus lasiopterus, Felis silvestris silvestris, Bos bonasus).
