The rates of environmental fees shall be set according to the type of pollution as specified in the Annex 1. Limits of discharge of pollutants into water bodies of national importance shall be set by the authorization for special water management issued by the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. The payers of environmental fees shall be held responsible for the correct calculation and timely payment thereof in conformity with the modalities established by law. Environmental fees that have not been paid in shall be collected in conformity with the modalities established by law. The payment of environmental fees shall not be released from compensation of damages caused by the infringement of environmental legislation. Full text Ukrainian
