The Food Safety Agency has the authority to issue food safety certificates according to the hygiene, phytosanitary, veterinary and ecological requirements in the fields of internal and international trade. This Decree underlines that food safety certificate shall not be issued for the foodstuffs including genetically modified plant materials or biologically active food additives.
