Abstract The Forest Ministry is the national state institution subordinated to the Council of Ministers. The main tasks of the Forest Ministry shall be: (a) carrying out the state policy in the sphere of forest management, conservation of the forests stock and reforestation; (b) regulation of forestry and administration of forest service; (c) state control of the forest stock. The Forest Ministry shall have competence in the following fields: (a) protection and conservation of public forest; (b) hunting; (c) forest organization, organization of hunting reserves, forest monitoring; (d) timber extraction; (e) issuing of hunting authorization.
