Ministerial Decree No. 298 on the classification of bovine carcasses according to some EC Regulations and national laws.

This Ministerial Decree, which is composed of 11 articles and divided into 4 Sections, establishes provisions on the classification and identification of bovine carcasses, on the setting of their prices and on the modality of the inspections to be held in the slaughterhouses (art. 1-3). Are exempted from the classification establishments that bone slaughtered bovine and small-scale sellers that buy live animals and provide for the slaughtering. Animals shall be identified by an indelible and non
