The aforesaid supervision shall be carried out by the authorized state institutions – sanitary and epidemiological service and veterinary inspection. Sanitary and epidemiological service shall supervise over the compliance with sanitary and hygienic norms, rules and regulations. Veterinary inspectors shall supervise over compliance of foodstuffs with food safety requirements. Acts issued by the officials of sanitary and epidemiological service and state veterinary inspection shall be subject to compulsory implementation by all natural and legal persons.
